Nutella Love

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

I made the most incredible treat the other day. I mean, when your husband is out of town, there is no need to be modest, right?! I made nutella crescents.

First, I started with a roll of crescents (the refrigerated type) and slivered almonds. If you don't know what nutella is, GO GET SOME! That's all I need to say about that.

You spread on the nutella and then sprinkle the slivered almonds over top. Protein is the key word here.

Then you roll them up and sprinkle sugar on them, as if they need it.

Remember, this is a "treat" so no judgements needed.

You watch them bake because you can't possibly wait any longer.

Then you admire while they cool (slightly). You don't want them to cool entirely, I promise.

Finally, arrange them on a sweet plate for you to enjoy. And, remember, there is protein in there.

Then, take a nice long nap, because you'll need it after all those rolls...and protein.

Okay, I'm definitely going to make these. Nutella is awesome stuff, I don't know if you have an Aldi where you're at, but they have an off-brand version that I just so happen to like better. It's a little more thick and easier to spread, or I could just be over analyzing. ;) But, this looks so simple and easy, I've gotta try it! Thanks for sharing!

Um, YUM!!! That looks so good!! I am a big nutella fan. I just dip my spoon in the peanut butter jar and then straight into the nutella. Then I lick the spoon clean and repeat. :)

Those look yummy!!
My dyson rocks with animal fur! We have a dog and a cat. But we don't have any hard wood. It has a floor attachment that I use on our tile and I love it for that!

Were you aware that you can purchase Nutella at Costco? In a TWO Pack??? If I was eating sugar right now, I'd be ALL over that two pack. LOL
