The Weekend of Food

Friends, we ate well this weekend! It was BEAUTIFUL and we did a lot of work in the yard getting our sprinklers in order so that we can start planting (and by planting I mean an entirely new yard from the grass up!).
First, we have been wanting to try this little spot down the street that is PACKED Saturday and Sunday mornings. 
The hubs had the "cowboy omelet" with bacon, ham, tomatoes, cheese, and other yummies.
I had a delicious blueberry waffle. Can you tell it has BLUEBERRIES in it? Yum!
Tonight we stopped by a new seafood store and they were closing for the night. They gave us 25 bacon wrapped shrimp for $15! Perfect-o since that is my favorite meal!
Well, it's back to frozen meals and chicken for us :) but I hope your weekend was full of delicious food as well!

Sounds like you had a great weekend. I can't wait to see your yard when it is done. That waffle looks amazing, and I agree, shrimp and bacon is very delicious! Great deal!
how could a place called "Pot Bellies" NOT be good?!?!? HA... and I, too, love bacon wrapped shrimp! Mmmmmm, we put bbq sauce over ours on the grill and woah is it good! :)
That food looks delicious!! I love weekends like that!
