I brought home this beauty bargain today and need your help!! It was an impulse buy. I have been looking for something for extra seating in our main room for the last 6 months. I need you to tell me whether or not it needs to be moved to somewhere else...
Here it is...I am a very traditional person--I love plaid, stripes, paisleys...it's just me :)
Here is how close it is to the front door...
Up close next to the rug--plenty of room to walk...
Whole room. What do you think?? I think it is so hard because our main living area is right when you walk in, so that makes it difficult to find furniture that isn't overbearing. 
PLEASE give me your opinions!!

I love it. I've been wanting a wingback chair for our bedroom and found one recently... at a junk sale on side of the road. it was something. It's ORANGE velvet. I bought it to have it recovered...but DW wont let me bring it in the house until I have it recovered... he says he doesnt even want to think who may have owned it and what they did with it! Ha... ANYWAY, I think YOUR chair looks wonderful! :
I love it too. I think it looks perfect in that spot and ties the room nicely together. You have great taste and I wish I had that chair!

erg. I tried commenting so many times today! I love the chair where you put it. If you could find a cute plant stand table as a catch all between the chair and door that might be cute.
Also, Do you have room to cheat the sofa chair and ottoman on the diagonal for some symmetry? That might be why you feel it's not quite right. It's a super cute classic chair though.
That's a great find! I love finding treasures like that! I like the chair there, it looks great. It looks like it completes the room, and it matches perfectly!
