Girl's Weekend and Closing

Hey everyone! Lots to update you on. I had a fantastic weekend with college friends in Siesta Key, FL. We all totally did it up for 3 days and were left exhausted and dehydrated, but it was worth having to sleep 13 hours straight the first day home to catch up.

And then all 10 of us again around 1AM--hence why we all look a little sleepy and sweaty.

It was so much fun catching up with all of them and getting to hear all about the changes going on in their lives. They are such beautiful women inside and out and I am very lucky to have them as friends. We can't wait to reunite for Mubby's wedding in October :)

I am now at the beach on Ana Maria Island with my parents, brother, and husband. The hubs has to work today in Sarasota which was a treat for him! He got to wake up late and he will get home early for a little time in the sun before the day ends. We have a truly beautiful condo with 3 beds and 3 baths so that we all have our own space--THANKS mom and dad! The ocean is very calming and the wind is just right--although it tricked me yesterday and I am somewhat rede because of it.

Finally, BIG NEWS !! We are 100% closing on our new home August 7th! The inspection went great and we are so happy that we will get to put the money we had put away for fixing problems towards renovations! We hope to lay wood and tile before we move in (carpet is brand new)--it will be like a brand new house! We will be keeping you updated on those projects, of course :).
