**Remember to enter my giveaway for a fun summertime gardening basket** :)
I got my Pottery Barn magazine in the mail yesterday *swwooooon* and I just love the way they make their beds. They always look so comfortable and cozy, while still looking absolutely stunning.
So, as you remember, this has been the way my guest bedroom has looked since the curtain reveal.
Well, yesterday I had a little fun and made the bed, "pottery barn style". I love the way it looks. The duvet is silky so it doesn't lay quite as nicely as a cotton one would, but it still works nicely. I like the white blanket, although I wish it was creamier in color. It gives the room a little brightness.
I also popped in our rocking chair (that will someday go in the office/nursery) with a throw over it. I think it looks very cozy in there!
Did you all know how many colors of chalkboard paint are out there??? I am so excited. For a large wall in the office I want to have a giant chalkboard! If anyone has any tips on what surface to use (to paint over) and how to apply the paint, etc. please let me know!

Oh my gosh- what a difference the way you make the bed makes!!! It looks great!!
WOW! The bed looks so wonderful!!! I want to go try that now!!!
Love the bed, but I LOVE the rocking chair. Where did you get that beauty? Oh and I did the header and blog design myself until I can figure out those fancy scrapbook blog headers.
I love how you used the catalog for inspiration to tweak what you already have. The bed looks great "PB" style. I need to get some decorating skills...I just feel like I am not good at that stuff, but I am going to use your tip and learn from store displays and catalogs that I like.
CUTE!!!
I love it! I think it makes the room look more inviting. Good job!
Nice idea! Bed looks incredible!
I love how you did the bed, so cute! It looks great! I had no idea there were so many colors of chalkboard paint, so fun. THanks for sharing that tidbit!
Love the way you snazzed it up! We have an old rocking chair very much (if not practically identical) to yours! I didn't know there were so many chalkboard colors, but I love the idea of having a chalkboard wall in the office!
Looks darling!! I have missed so many posts all of a sudden. Life overwhelmed me this week! LOL
You can paint it on a thin piece of board. If you go to Lowe's they will even cut it to size for you! :)
