No More Painting!
Sunday, April 11, 2010
I had a very productive spring break. Here is the list that I accomplished:
*Paint the rest of the kitchen
*Paint the laundry room to match
*Plant front planter box
*Finish sprinkler system
*Clean house
*Get a tan
*Make meals for the month
Here's a sneak peak of the yard. This planter box is right in front of our big front window. These are peace lilies...so pretty and full.
It will be two more weeks until I show pictures of the entire yard--we are doing piece by piece and then next week we will plant sod...I can't WAIT to have REAL GRASS!
Well, the reason I show you a picture of a pipe is because on the second day of painting I bumped into the flush out pipe for the washing machine and it cracked and broke. So, we had to have that replaced...ugh! I am so sick of the old pipes in this house conking out on us.
Anyway, here is the room all put back together :) Loving the green on white.
Cute basket and curtains.
Anyway, tomorrow is my last day of "freedom" until school starts back on Tuesday. We have 30 days of school left starting Tuesday--let the countdown begin!

Your laundry room actually makes me want to come over and do your laundry....haha.....you should see my laundry room....it is in a concrete/smelly basement...with block walls.
WOW you have been really productive!! Good for you. Your laundry room looks nice. I like your curtains and your baskets!!. Can't wait to see your yard soon. Enjoy your last day of freedom tomorrow. :)
I love your laundry room!! I am so jealous!! The green looks so wonderful with the white!
You got so much done!! Enjoy the day tomorrow!!
I really like those planter boxes! They need me! They need to come magically appear underneath my windows, full of beautiful plants at the mere snap of a finger. What do you mean, wishful thinking? ;) Ohhh well, guess I'll slave away over my gardening timbers and make my own. Love the laundry room, it looks great with its new do. And meals for a month? I have an idea, I'll teach you all I know about photography if you come cook my meals for a month. Hehe! Seriously, though, when you go camera shopping give me a holler and I'll tell you my experiences thus far!
Oh I am loving the room! I know what you mean about pipes and home issues... it seems like everytime to turn around there's something else. Regardless, your place is looking wonderful and I am really enjoying the pictures :) Good luck going back to school this week!
