Clyde's Blessing

At my school we have something called, Blessing of the Pets, each year. All the pets come with their families and our priests bless them for the coming year. Clyde got to experience his first blessing last Friday and all my kiddos were thrilled to be a part of it! I can't post pics of my kid's faces so some of the pictures are a little odd, but here is a general gist!

So cute! Was this for St. Francis of Assisi's feast day? We wanted to take Casco for a blessing, but our church didn't do it this year. I'm glad Clyde got in on the action!
That is so cool! And Clyde is so cute! I am sure the kids had a lot of fun with that.
Neat! Is your school's church Episcapol? Adam and I were in Cedar Key this weekend and the Espicapol church was having a blessing of the pets day too. I was wondering if it is just Espicapol church's that do that. I am sure when Clyde is being a rascal he will be glad he got a blessing from God :)
He is So sweet... What a cool event! I miss my purebred Lewis!! who looked alot more like Clyde!! *sigh* =)
